About Us
The Alliance of Hudson Valley Women Business Owners is THE powerful place for established women business owners to grow their businesses through networking, learning and sharing of ideas.
Dedicated to furthering the ambitions of women entrepreneurs in the Hudson Valley from all business categories and disciplines, The Alliance welcomes seasoned and up-and-coming business owners into our ranks. We offer regular opportunities to:
- network, share ideas and offer each other mutual support
- educate ourselves and enhance business skills through monthly program meetings
We are excited to be part of WEDC, the Women’s Enterprise Development Center, Inc., a non-profit, SBA Women’s BusinessCenter that serves the information and training needs of female
entrepreneurs.
Program
The Alliance holds monthly program meetings from September through June. Speakers have included experts on such topics as social media, time management, dressing for success, public relations and marketing, and human resources issues.
Our meetings are usually held in the North Lobby Conference Room at 1133 Westchester Avenue in White Plains. Please check the calendar and register for our next program. We look forward to seeing you and learning more about your business.
Membership
As a membership organization sponsored by WEDC, The Alliance reaches women owners of businesses at all levels of development. Membership dues are moderate, but the benefits of joining are many:
- We offer Alliance members learning and educational opportunities at a reduced rate of 20% off the general meeting fee.
- Most of our meetings are seminars and workshops where you¹ll take away vital skills and knowledge you can put to work in your business immediately.
- You'll be eligible for member-to-member discounts. Our membership entitles you to substantial discounts offered by many of our members, saving you money on essential products and services.
- Members receive special opportunities to showcase and spotlight their business in our E-Newsletter and at monthly meetings. Call for details.

- Membership rates are reasonable, only $75 annually.
- New business owners (in business less than one year) get the exceptionally low rates of just $50.
- We offer special membership categories for women whose entrepreneurial spirits are demonstrated in their work within larger corporations.
